S'Arracó is a small and intimate village, where the tranquility and hospitality that permeates its streets attract everyone who visits it. S'Arracó preserves the charm of the typical houses of the inland villages, low and traditional, with a small orchard or garden. This village also shows samples of the stately architecture, such as the various modernist style houses, built with the money that the emigrants of S'Arracó sent from France to their families, most of which are located on the main street, França street. Also noteworthy are the building of "ca ses Monges", the old school, now the house of culture, and the three traditional cafes, which are the meeting point for the people of the village. The main building of s'Arracó is the church of "Sant Crist", built in 1704 by Antonio Ferrandell Verí, considered the founder of the village. Inside, the baroque altarpiece dedicated to the "Santo Cristo" and the altarpiece of the "Mare de Déu de la Trapa", an image that comes from the disappeared monastery of the same name, stand out. Likewise, in s'Arracó, you can find some testimonies of the rural economy, such as the old possessions of "Son Guillem", "Son Joan", "Son Castell" and "Son Nadal", as well as the mills or the waterwheels that remind us of an agricultural past. As far as sports are concerned, the village has a modern sports facility, the sports field of "sa Vinya", equipped with artificial turf and prepared for the practice of sports such as soccer or rugby. But hiking is the best leisure option in s'Arracó. The mountain landscape offers the opportunity to make interesting excursions on foot and enjoy wonderful landscapes and unbeatable views. One of the most popular routes is the ascent to the monastery of "la Trapa". A small family hotel and a couple of restaurants, where you can taste succulent dishes of international cuisine, are also part of the charms of s'Arracó.
Puerto de Andratx is one of the best and most spectacular natural harbors of the islands, surrounded by beautiful coves of transparent waters such as "cala Llamp", "cala Moragues" and "cala d'Egos". This modern port town, with a population of about 3,300 inhabitants, has gone from being an old fishermen's refuge to being one of the most important and most visited tourist centers in Mallorca, thanks to its nautical activity, which favors a more exclusive residential tourism. The Port is a cosmopolitan and lively place, where many cultures mix and combine shopping, sun and nightlife. It also offers an infinity of activities related to the sea. However, it has one of the best equipped marinas in the Balearic Islands, the Club de Vela de Andratx, with about 500 moorings occupied by sport and pleasure boats. The maximum animation is concentrated in the promenade and the pier, where the building of "La Lonja" is located, testimony of the validity of the fishing activity and where you can buy the catch of fresh fish from the fishermen in the afternoons. Stores and restaurants with pleasant terraces overlooking the sea, fill the promenade leading to the lighthouse and the Sailing Club, passing the small stream of "es Saluet".
Sant Elm has gone from being a fishing village that lived on fishing and salting to being an important tourist center, with all the services of a first class destination, but far from the overcrowding of larger towns. The beach is protected by the islet of Es Pantaleu. Thanks to its presence even when winds blow from the southwest, west or northwest the waters of the beach are quite calm. Only with strong winds from the west or southwest the waters of this beach become rough. This beach and its surroundings are steeped in history. It was here that the armada of King James I of Aragon anchored in 1229 as the first step in the conquest of Mallorca. According to tradition, the first royal mass was celebrated on the Pantaleu islet. There they had the help of Alí del Pantaleu, a Muslim who was against the Vali of Mallorca and who provided valuable information to the Christians about the situation of Mallorca and the location of the defending army. With his information they decided to make a night landing on the beach of Santa Ponsa, where the conquest really began. This historical heritage is reflected in the construction of the castle of Sant Elm, several defense towers, and the nearby monastery of La Trapa.
Sa Coma is a population center belonging to the municipality of Andratx. Located in the small but beautiful valley called "Coma Calenta", where you can also see old farms such as "Son Lluís" and various houses and "posesions". It is accessed from the "Castell de Son Mas" (current town hall building) following the road that goes to the village of Es Capdellá. It is worth mentioning that in this valley we can find the "CCA Andratx", which is the largest Art Center dedicated to the creation and exhibition of Contemporary Art in Mallorca, as well as the "Santa Catarina" Winery which was founded in 1985 and where you can visit its "celler" and taste its Mallorcan wines.
Sant Llorenç des Cardassar is the main nucleus of the municipality of the same name and is located in the northeast of the island of Mallorca. In 1892 it became independent from Manacor and began its journey as a municipality, so much so that it is in this inland village where the administrative center of the municipality is located. Old sayings say that a town is born where water is found, and so it was in the case of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar; the Pou Vell, the main enclave for the water supply, once guaranteed the supply of this precious good for the people and animals of this town. The village is located in a valley, surrounded by a great natural and agricultural landscape. Its possessions (typical Mallorcan agricultural estates), lands, orchards and flocks, are very representative of Sant Llorenç, closely related to the countryside and rural traditions. With the construction of the first hotels on the coast, tourism, construction and associated activities have been the economic engine of the municipality, which has adapted to the new times.

Escorca is a municipality where the sea and the mountains are always present. This town -which includes the villages of Escorca, Lluc, Cala Tuent and Cala Sa Calobra- is the largest and least populated in Mallorca. One of the most beautiful routes that you can do in Escorca is to go through the spot of Sa Calobra and the Torrent de Pareis, in the Sierra Tramontana. Torrent Pareis is a canyon that is three kilometers long and has walls two hundred meters high. The arrival to this place can be done by sea and by a road of fourteen kilometers of curves. In addition, in this locality you will be able to enjoy numerous historical monuments of great importance. One of them is the Sanctuary of Santa Maria de Lluc. This place is a Marian sanctuary dating from the thirteenth century and is home to the Virgin of Lluc, patron saint of Mallorca.
Calvià Vila is the administrative center of the municipality. Located 14 km. from Palma, the capital of the island of Mallorca. It is located in the mountainous foothills of the Sierra de Tramuntana. Geographically the town of Calvià is located in the area with some hills or slight elevations, surrounded by more or less flat lands destined to the cultivation of olive and almond trees. The first news we have of this municipality refer to the existence of the church, which is mentioned in 1248 in the papal bull of Innocent III in which the parishes of Mallorca are recognized under his protection. The village is configured in a central nucleus surrounded by scattered houses, with orchards and fields. The village does not have large buildings, however the church of San Juan Bautista, and some houses such as es Pontet, Can Verger, Ca's Metge vell stand out. The church of San Juan Bautista dates back to 1248, but of this original building, hardly any original remains are preserved as it has been replaced at different times by more modern constructions. The last major renovation dates from 1867. The current building has a historicist facade that combines neo-Romanesque elements with a large neo-Gothic window and two slender twin towers where the bell tower is located. The town hall building, located at the entrance of the village, was inaugurated in 1989 and was designed by the architects Rafael Balaguer and Jaime Vidal, who knew how to combine elements of popular and traditional Mallorcan architecture such as tiles, marés or crushed stone, functionality and the design of an avant-garde construction. Every Monday there is a market where you can buy local products. The festivities of this area are those of Sant Jaume from 20 to 25 July.
