Escorca is a municipality where the sea and the mountains are always present. This town -which includes the villages of Escorca, Lluc, Cala Tuent and Cala Sa Calobra- is the largest and least populated in Mallorca. One of the most beautiful routes that you can do in Escorca is to go through the spot of Sa Calobra and the Torrent de Pareis, in the Sierra Tramontana. Torrent Pareis is a canyon that is three kilometers long and has walls two hundred meters high. The arrival to this place can be done by sea and by a road of fourteen kilometers of curves. In addition, in this locality you will be able to enjoy numerous historical monuments of great importance. One of them is the Sanctuary of Santa Maria de Lluc. This place is a Marian sanctuary dating from the thirteenth century and is home to the Virgin of Lluc, patron saint of Mallorca.
