The Oratori del Cocó was built in 1878 and is the place of pilgrimage for all the "Llosetins i Llosetines" as it keeps the "Mare de Deu de Lloseta" for which the locals feel a great devotion. The Oratory itself was built on the grounds of the Possesió de Son Ramón, this Possesió belonged to the lands of Ayamans but when the latter was divided in the sixteenth century.
The parish church appears documented for the first time in the bull of Pope Innocent IV with the name of Santa Maria de Bellver. The present church has a royal license since 1360 and since then has undergone successive extensions and renovations, the last one in 1992, when the interior was restored. * The church can be visited on Thursday mornings coinciding with the weekly market.
Congregation that settled in Sineu in 1864. The oratory or chapel of the convent is a neo-Gothic building that was inaugurated in 1892. It has a doorway with a pointed arch, with four plain archivolts that, like the jambs, are free of ornamentation, with the lower part made of stone. Above the portal, a line of impost gives way to a rose window, the stained glass windows of which form the M of the anagram of Mary. The crowning presents vegetal motifs, two lateral pinnacles and a belfry topped by a cross. To the right of the chapel, marked with the number 19, rises the facade of the convent itself; it has three floors and a lintel doorway. To the left of the chapel is the school building, which was inaugurated on June 19, 1927. The classrooms of the building, currently unoccupied, are distributed on three floors. The educational work of the nuns lasted almost to the present day, until their eight-grade school became a public school.
The construction of the current building began in 1626, ending in 1785. From the Plaza de la Vila here in Alaró, we can see the main facade of the temple, flat and sparsely ornamented, according to the most usual patterns of 17th century Mallorcan religious architecture. The interior of the temple, is a single nave, with lateral chapels between the buttresses and covered with a vault of crucifers. A few treasures to enjoy inside, is the altarpiece of Souls of the Purgatory (located in the third chapel to the right), and of course the main altarpiece. The original organ was made in the mid-eighteenth century by Pere Joan Bosch, but due to deterioration it had to be replaced by a newer one made by Grensik. Every Saturday at 11:30h, you can enjoy a free and beautiful organ concert performed in these rousing surroundings.
The hermitage of the Santíssima Trinitat (Holy Trinity) is located on the road from Valldemossa to Deià on the right hand side, shortly after the gas station, in front of the restaurant Can Costa, there is a path that will lead us to the hermitage in just over 10 minutes, after having traveled a kilometer. It is recommended to arrive on foot, although it is possible to go up by car. It was founded in 1648 on the ruins of a primitive hermitage in the Trinitat forest, of which some remains remain. Upon entering the enclosure we find a covered entrance, which gives access to the courtyard where there is a small oratory dedicated to the Immaculate Conception. To its left, there is the porter's lodge with the private quarters of the hermits. To the west of the enclosure, a viewpoint offers an extraordinary view of the coast.
