Really great place to visit. Cave is impressive. Cafe has got very tasty sandwiches with ham, manchego tomatoes and olives.
very nice down there once ur in. also it wasn't cold boat trip was good aswell
beautiful and interesting but way too far expensive... they took a photo of us at the beginning and at the end sell it for 8 euros. in view of the fact that one ticket for adults costs 21 they could give the photo for free.
Very good, excellent value for money, many more stalagtites than the other caves near by. not sure why your forced to sit and watch the classical show. Queue for the boats was ridiculous all for a 3 min float.
They have beautiful beaches and 5 nice walking trails. Each trail is no more than 20min walk so in couple hours You can see it all and visit nice beaches in the park
Torrente de Pareis (Pareis Stream) is a karstic canyon more than three kilometres long located on the northern part of the Tramuntana mountain range. It has carved out an abrupt valley with almost vertical walls soaring over 200 metres tall. It starts at the confluence of the Albarca or Lluc stream and the Gorg Blau stream at a site called L’Entreforc, and it flows into the sea through a small, coarse-grained, white sand beach on the last stretch of the stream, a hollow surrounded by cliffs known as L’Olla, one of the most unique, inspiring landscapes on the island. Because of its climate and geography, the stream is rich in flora, with more than 300 species found to date – around 10% of them endemic species, such as the Mallorca violet, locally known as the viola roquera (Viola jaubertiana) and the plant locally known as cossiada de penyal (Globularia cambessedesii). Yet there is also a wide range of fauna here, including lizards, water snakes, wild pigeons and countless bird species. However, the star species is the minuscule amphibian endemic to this region, the Mallorcan midwife toad (Alytes muletensis). One of the most appealing outings around Mallorca is following Pareis downstream starting at its source at L’Entreforc. It can be dangerous, so before doing it, be sure to check with someone familiar with the area, or better yet go with an expert guide. This stream is one of Mallorca’s natural wonders. Along with the Gorg Blau and Lluc streams, it has been declared a natural monument.
The Artá Caves are located on the coast in the municipality of Capdepera, in the Cap Vermell, surrounded by mountains that tower over the sea. The caves have been visited since times gone by and it is very likely that the island’s primitive inhabitants knew of them, as did the various populations that later inhabited the island. Going through the towering entrance, we gain access to the chamber known as the Vestibule or Entrance Hall, where countless stalactites with prodigious shapes and extraordinary proportions hang from the high arched roof. Tall stalagmites rise up gracefully from the floor. They vaguely resemble human forms, mysterious, motionless, rigid visions that are indifferent to human gazes, and have that imposing superiority of nature’s marvellous creations.
The Gorg Blau is an artificial water reservoir located between the slopes of Puig Major and Puig de Massanella. Together with the Cúber reservoir, since 1971 it supplies water to the area of Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands (Spain) and its surroundings. It is located in the valley of Almallutx and near the houses of the same name. The torrent that starts from the reservoir, called torrent of Gorg Blau or sa Fosca, flows into the torrent of Pareis. It was declared a Natural Monument by the Balearic Government in 2003.
The Granja de Esporles has become a reference point for those who wish to get to know the old, traditional Mallorca. A visit that combines cuisine, handicrafts and folklore. The surprisingly verdant countryside in the municipality of Esporles, close to Palma, is the setting for this old manor home, which offers visitors the chance to see tools from traditional trades, farm animals, furniture, traditional dress and more. A glimpse of the past set in beautiful gardens, which includes samples of wine and several Mallorcan culinary specialities. Handicrafts and folklore shows are featured on Wednesdays and Fridays, while horse shows enliven Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
The Natural Area of Cap Enderrocat is an area with a great scenic interest due to the different cliffs that we find in the south of Mallorca as well as a peculiar vegetation that has adapted to the wind that blows.
