The beach is not the best in the area. It's crowded and the sea is not clean, it's full of algae as well.
It's a must in Mallorca. Get there by car to enjoy the route with spectacular views of the mountains. The beach is not anything particular.
It's the best beach I visited. Clean sand, clean water, easy to get there. Free parking as well!
wonderful stunning little bay. it's worthy to go on both sides of the bay and see irresistible nature creations. on the left there is amazing view on another bay and on the right you can get to the lighthouse...
nice beach
beautiful place but I rate only 4 stars because the parking costs 10 euros!
Caló des Moro is situated at six kilometres from Santanyí and it is the most crowded beach of this area. It is also called by the incorrect name s'Almunia like the beach nearby. This virgin beach, located between cliffs populated by pines, bushes and lentisc, is sandy, with some big rocks in between. This aspect may change depending on the force of the tempests, due to the fact that the sea currents sweep the slime under the water, eliminating the solarium area. The beach is not very big, but it is very crowded, so that it finding a place for the towel might be a problem. The water is crystal clear, open to the wind from east-southeast, with a sandy ground, which is excellent for diving and for anchoring small boats, with a depth that ranges from three to four metres next to the coast. The nearest port facilities are located at Port Cala Figuera de Santanyí, at two nautical miles. The access to the beautiful Caló des Moro on foot begins leaving the car for free next to the houses of sa Comuna (at 1,1 kilometres from the beginning of the road that leads to s'Almunia, and at half a kilometre from the sea). Then you have to follow on foot walking for 400 metres on a small and steep trail that begins before the road finishes and that takes us to this rocky and sandy area along the cliffs. This problematic accessibility explains that the influx of local visitors and tourists is not too high. Information about this beach may change. one of the most beautiful beaches.
It's a very nice and big beach, it's a bit difficult to reach it because of the signs but it's worth the effort
Cala Pi is named by the surrounding pine trees and the torrent that flows into its water. It is situated 17 kilometres from Llucmajor and four from the talayotic village of Capocorb, declared Monumento Histórico-Artístico Nacional in 1931, which can be visited after paying a ticket. This beach goes into the interior for half a kilometre between two vertical walls of more than 30 metres, and the visitor is received by a defence tower of the 16th century. The sand is fine, with only little slope, where we sometimes can find seaweed, and in the surroundings there is a residential area. The navigators must know that this sandy area is the most sheltered of this area of the majorcan coast, open to south and southeast, when the wind blows from south it is difficult to exit, and near the entrance there are three stones on port side. This is why the boats should enter from the central part to anchor, if they come early and if they are not too big, because there is a depth of from two and five metres on a sandy ground. The nearest port, Club Nàutic s'Estanyol de Migjorn, is situated at four and a half nautical miles. The accessibility by car is easy and there is a free parking area for private cars. The bus stop is very close. You will have to go down some steep stairs to reach Cala Pi. The influx of local and tourist visitors is not very massive. Information about this beach may change.
