Las Ramblas de Palma de Mallorca is one of the main roads of the city. Formerly it crossed the Sa Riera Torrent but due to a flood in the 16th century that caused a large number of deaths the torrent changed its path. Nowadays the Las Ramblas promenade is lined with trees and numerous flower stores.
