The offer contained in all the guides and is a classic of the visits and excursions in Mallorca, but it is worth remembering how great it can be a train ride to Soller. No travel is either a commuter train. It is a very special trip on board a nineteenth Railway which takes about 90 minutes on a tour of 30 kilometers, which runs along the slopes of the Sierra de Tramuntana and in whose depths you venture through a tunnel . The train is in perfect magazine. It was originally built in 1912 and every detail of the cars and machinery is meticulously maintained. This train is transported through time thanks to a set period, but also thanks to the dreamy landscapes that you absorb as you approach the town of orange and near the end of a lovely walk. Once you go online Sóller retro and take the tram to the port (3 euros each way). Once there you will find a beautiful seascapes and an interesting complement of bars and good restaurants specializing in fresh fish. Do not forget to try if you have time, made Soller prawns grilled. Accompanied by a good target and some are exquisite salad.

This is a fantastic, historical trainline with a wonderfully nostalgic feel. Expensive but worth it. It cost €54 for a family of four (no charge for our four year old though) to get from Palma to Söller -NO RETURN However, the train itself has the beautiful 'clackety-clack' noise as it trundles through the stunning scenery. The tunnels are exciting and the views are amazing. Some of the carriages are open to the elements so consider the weather when planning your visit. Top tip: We ended up getting the bus back to Palma which cost €12 for all of us.
