The Plaza de Toros de Palma de Mallorca, popularly known as Coliseo Balear, Coliseu Balear in Catalan, is a bullring in Palma de Mallorca. It is located on Gaspar Bennassar Street (the architect who designed it) in the homonymous neighborhood in the Northern District of the city. The square has 11,620 seats in the stands, 4 boxes (north, south, east and west) and measures 44.5 meters in diameter. It is owned by the company Exclusivas Balañá S.A., based in Barcelona. Nowadays it is known for its sporting uses and, above all, for being the place where the most multitudinous summer concerts of the island take place. The Balearic Coliseum is part of the historical heritage of the city of Palma de Mallorca. Its period of greatest splendor was the decades of the 60s and 70s. It has hosted renowned bullfighters such as Luis Miguel Dominguín, Santiago Martín "El Viti", Manuel Díaz "El Cordobés", Paquirri and Jesulín de Ubrique, among others.
