The Roma Hotel opens its doors for the first time in April 1957 in Port de Sóller, a time when Mallorca started to become a major European tourist destinations. Thus, during this booming time, the Roma bar became a leading establishment for visitors to Puerto de Sóller. Nowadays it continues to be one of the most popular places in Port de Sóller, appreciated, wellcoming and it has regular customers that keep coming back year after year. Port de Sóller The only commercial port in the north of the island, until the beginning of the last century, it served as the port of entry for goods that supplied the villages in the area. Flanked by the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana (World Heritage, UNESCO 2010), it was isolated until 1912, when the railway joining Palma to Sóller was inaugurated, and one year later, when the tram running the 3 km that separated Sóller from its port started operating. Both lines retain their original character and are primary tourist attractions. Upon arriving in Port de Sóller along the tram route, visitors will find Bar Roma.

Situated in Palma the Majorca’s Historic city centre, “Bruselas Restaurant” offers 4 halls with a capacity for 80 guests. Is a typical Majorcan house from the year 1400, where two of the halls were cisterns, another one was used to store oils and olives and the last one was a stable, everything of the same property. These private and separate halls are perfect for group meetings. The restaurant name is owing to the previous Belgian owner: Joseph Ray. This romantic place opens in 1953 as a piano bar, where famous pianists such us Tete Montoliu played. By the end of 2002, it was opened as a Barbecue Grill Steak Restaurant specialising in Argentinean meat fed on natural pasture lands, from English breeds and privately imported. The steaks are made in the grill with vegetable charcoal and you would be able to taste filet steak, entrecote, high rib steak, rib eye steak, etc. With exquisite chips or abundant grilled vegetables accompaniment. At this moment, “Bruselas Restaurant” will wonder you with a varied and attractive offer of Gourmet Hamburgers, of vegetables, lamb, ostrich, ox of “kobe”, steak or chicken, all of which are well-prepared at our home. You will also be able to taste very tasty Steak Tartar, cut with knife and made on your table following your own taste. Or if you prefer anoter speciality, the Red Tuna Tartar.prawns.
