The Bennàssar Gallery was founded in April 1977 and located in the present address since 1985, always in the village of Pollença. Uninterruptedly has been conducting exhibitions alternating with young talents and established artists, always on the line of the highest quality and professionalism in contemporary art. Such exhibitions are renewed every month.
The Coll Bardolet Cultural Foundation's main goals are to preserve, exhibit and publicise Josep Coll Bardolet's work and the Foundation's private collection, as well as promote the Fine Arts in general. The Coll Bardolet Cultural Foundation is located in a three-storey building in the centre of Valldemossa, 17 km from Palma. Painter Coll Bardolet (Campdevànol, Gerona 1912-Valldemossa 2007) settled in this fetching village at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountains in the early 1940s. Like many other artists, he was captivated by Mallorca's scenery, light and folklore and wished to bequeath part of his work and private artwork collection so that residents and visitors alike could enjoy them. Aside from exhibiting the Foundation's own collection, other cultural activities are sponsored to promote the Fine Arts. The Balearic Islands Government, Mallorca Council and Valldemossa Town Council all collaborate with the Foundation.
Located in Jaime III, one of the main shopping streets of the city the distinction of being the largest art gallery in Palma de Mallorca. With over 40 years of history specializing in Mediterranean and contemporary painters, you can find works of reference like Miró, Tàpies, Barceló and the great names of nineteenth century painting and Majorcan S.XX.
