Llucalcari, also known as es Carrer, is a small hamlet situated on the coast of the Serra de Tramuntana, some three kilometres from Deià towards Sóller. 85 metres above the sea, it belongs to the municipality of Deià and comprises some twenty buildings that conform to the most idyllic images of Mallorca. Of the five defence towers that used to protect it from the pirates, there are still three: one in Casa d'Amunt, one in Can Simó; and one in Can Apol·loni. There is also a small chapel where there is a statue of the Mare de Déu dels Desemparats, who is honoured on August 15 for their patron saint festivities, organised by the Associació de Propietaris, Residents i Amics de Llucalcari. From Llucalcari via the old stone steps that descend between terraces of olive trees and pines, one can reach the tiny shingly and rocky cove, es Canyaret, that is appreciated for its transparent water and the freshwater fountain from the mountains. In this cove some people practice nudism and others use the pools formed by the water to cover their bodies with mud, which is supposed to have relaxing properties.

Galilea is a small village in the Puigpunyent municipality situated at 500 metres of altitude, on the south slope of the mythical Galatzó mountain. The centre is formed by traditional houses established round the Immaculada Concepció church, build in 1810. Next to the church there is a square with a bar restaurant, meeting point for the neighbours and frequented by tourists and travellers that visit the area. The square is also the activity centre during the patron saint fiestas, that are celebrated on September 8. Galilea is a priviliged place, away from the stress of the modern life, with a spectacular view over the Calvià coast, peaceful stone streets, and fresh mountain air. The village communicates with Palma via Puigpunyent, the nearest town, four kilometres away. There is another way to reach Galilea, from the West, following the local road that connects this village with Es Capdellà, through extraordinarily attractive virgin forests. Galilea has nowadays some 200 inhabitants, including many foreigners who have chosen this singular site in the Serra de Tramuntana as their home. Amongst the foreign residents that live in the village there are some well know artists, such as the couple made of by John Ulbricht and Angela Von Neumann, who settled in Galilea in the end of the 50's.
Buger is an inland town located in the north of Mallorca, about 15 minutes from the coast, and is the smallest municipality of Mallorca. Buger is a small town located on the top of a hill with beautiful views of the north coast and central area of Mallorca. The activity of this locality takes place around its main street and in the center of the locality where we find the majority of businesses and some cafeterias with their ample terraces. In Buger one breathes an air of tranquility, it is the authentic rural Majorca. Its surroundings are made up of cultivated areas with almond and carob tree fields.
The name of Santa Eugenia comes from the lord of the farmhouse that eventually became a village: Bernat de Santa Eugènia. Currently, the municipality has a population of just over 1,600 inhabitants, who are divided between the town and the small farmsteads. Agriculture, on the one hand (especially wheat, vineyards and legumes), and construction, on the other, are its main economic engines. Santa Eugènia celebrates its festivities in August and in summer there are also events such as the Santa Eugènia Performing Arts Festival. The town's traditional fair, the Santa Eugènia Agricultural and Livestock Fair, on the other hand, is held in spring, in mid-April.
Selva consists of 5 population centers where the largest of them is the town of Selva where the town hall is located, the other towns are Caimari, Moscari, Biniamar and Binibona, all these towns are within walking distance of each other and have many features in common. All these small towns have a special charm, they have narrow streets full of unevenness with old houses built of stone and very well maintained. Their environment is spectacular, they are surrounded by fields with cultivated areas, olive and almond trees and always in the background the magnificent view of the mountains.
Sant Llorenç des Cardassar is the main nucleus of the municipality of the same name and is located in the northeast of the island of Mallorca. In 1892 it became independent from Manacor and began its journey as a municipality, so much so that it is in this inland village where the administrative center of the municipality is located. Old sayings say that a town is born where water is found, and so it was in the case of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar; the Pou Vell, the main enclave for the water supply, once guaranteed the supply of this precious good for the people and animals of this town. The village is located in a valley, surrounded by a great natural and agricultural landscape. Its possessions (typical Mallorcan agricultural estates), lands, orchards and flocks, are very representative of Sant Llorenç, closely related to the countryside and rural traditions. With the construction of the first hotels on the coast, tourism, construction and associated activities have been the economic engine of the municipality, which has adapted to the new times.
Escorca is a municipality where the sea and the mountains are always present. This town -which includes the villages of Escorca, Lluc, Cala Tuent and Cala Sa Calobra- is the largest and least populated in Mallorca. One of the most beautiful routes that you can do in Escorca is to go through the spot of Sa Calobra and the Torrent de Pareis, in the Sierra Tramontana. Torrent Pareis is a canyon that is three kilometers long and has walls two hundred meters high. The arrival to this place can be done by sea and by a road of fourteen kilometers of curves. In addition, in this locality you will be able to enjoy numerous historical monuments of great importance. One of them is the Sanctuary of Santa Maria de Lluc. This place is a Marian sanctuary dating from the thirteenth century and is home to the Virgin of Lluc, patron saint of Mallorca.
Calvià Vila is the administrative center of the municipality. Located 14 km. from Palma, the capital of the island of Mallorca. It is located in the mountainous foothills of the Sierra de Tramuntana. Geographically the town of Calvià is located in the area with some hills or slight elevations, surrounded by more or less flat lands destined to the cultivation of olive and almond trees. The first news we have of this municipality refer to the existence of the church, which is mentioned in 1248 in the papal bull of Innocent III in which the parishes of Mallorca are recognized under his protection. The village is configured in a central nucleus surrounded by scattered houses, with orchards and fields. The village does not have large buildings, however the church of San Juan Bautista, and some houses such as es Pontet, Can Verger, Ca's Metge vell stand out. The church of San Juan Bautista dates back to 1248, but of this original building, hardly any original remains are preserved as it has been replaced at different times by more modern constructions. The last major renovation dates from 1867. The current building has a historicist facade that combines neo-Romanesque elements with a large neo-Gothic window and two slender twin towers where the bell tower is located. The town hall building, located at the entrance of the village, was inaugurated in 1989 and was designed by the architects Rafael Balaguer and Jaime Vidal, who knew how to combine elements of popular and traditional Mallorcan architecture such as tiles, marés or crushed stone, functionality and the design of an avant-garde construction. Every Monday there is a market where you can buy local products. The festivities of this area are those of Sant Jaume from 20 to 25 July.
